Veneers: ceramic shells for the front teeth
Veneers are wafer-thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of the teeth. They change shape and colour without crowning the tooth.
What veneers are suitable for
- Discolouration that cannot be whitened.
- Chipped corners and worn edges.
- Small gaps and irregular tooth shapes.
How your veneers are made
We design shape and colour digitally and agree them with you. We mill the veneers from all-ceramic with CEREC right in the practice.
A consultation shows whether veneers are an option for you. Healthy teeth and healthy gums are a requirement.

Does tooth structure have to be removed for veneers?
As a rule, a thin layer is removed from the front of the tooth. How much depends on your situation and is discussed with you beforehand.
Does health insurance pay for veneers?
Veneers are mostly a cosmetic treatment and are generally not covered by German statutory health insurance. You receive a cost plan in advance.
