Dr. Romann Fehrentz / Implants
Dental implants: planned on screen, placed gently
An implant replaces the root of a tooth that can no longer be saved. We plan the procedure digitally and place the implant in a guided, minimally invasive way.
The path to your implant
- Examination and consultation: we check whether there is enough bone and whether an implant is the right solution for you.
- Digital planning: the position and angle of the implant are defined on screen.
- Placement: a surgical guide directs the procedure. This protects the surrounding tissue.
- Healing: the implant bonds with the bone over three to four months.
- Crown: we then make the crown with CEREC in a single visit.
Who implants are suitable for
For most patients, provided there is enough bone. Every implant is preceded by an individual diagnosis and a consultation.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take until the tooth is finished?
The implant heals for three to four months. After that, the crown is made in a single visit.
What does guided implant placement mean?
The implant is placed with a surgical guide based on digital planning. It ends up exactly where it was planned.
Will I have a gap during the healing period?
That depends on the position in the mouth. Before the procedure we discuss how to bridge the time until the crown.
What does an implant cost?
The cost depends on your situation. You receive a cost plan in advance, which we go through with you.
